Lunar eclipse in the early morning of March 3rd! Here is a nice site with all the information you need to see this event. Penumbral, partial and full eclipse starting times are 3:44am 4:50am and 6:04am EST respectively. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Worm Moon because this was the time of year when the ground would begin to soften and the earthworms would reappear.
Time to spring forward! The sunsets now occur a minute later every evening as we approach the vernal equinox on March 20.
